We had a family triathalon and it was fun. I was excited that Summer and Logan were part of my team and that I just had to do the bike ride instead of everything. It was really tough and I need to be in better shape next time--if there is a next time... I took some fun pictures of the event. I also got together for a lot of family barbeques that were fun. This Thursday is Lauren's birthday and she will be 15 years old. It has been incredible weather here in Utah and I love the evening cool breeze. My dad had his 75th birthday and my sister's husband Alan Larsen--we had fun celebrating!

I love how my dad's birthday and Father's Day are so close together. His birthday is Monday and we are celebrating at my sister's house. I love my dad sooo very much! He has set a great example for me and has been there for me in times of trial and stress in my life. He is a wonderful father and a great poet. He loves to write and writes poetry often to my mother and often to the family as well.. He has always been a great writer and note taker. I'm thankful that my mom and dad are strong members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and were married in the temple. My dad will be 75 this year and my parents have been married for 50 years this year. Father's Day will be this Sunday and his birthday Monday--My husband is currently in Alabama and working on the house and other errands he had to do before comming back to Utah in July. I also want to wish my husband a Happy Father's Day--he also has been a good father and loves the children. Today was a gorgeous day here in Utah and I took lots of walks out in the sunshine.

Hello here are some pictures of my weekend with my family. I went to my Uncle Larry's house and his wife Arlene in Richmond, Utah close to Logan near my mom's house.

This morning the kids and I drove to Logan, Utah to attend Larry and Arlene's mission farewell to France. We had a family dinner at my mom's house this morning before the meeting. After the meeting, we had cookies and ice cream for dessert it was really fun. My dad's sister Janice was there and it was good to talk to her a while. I talked to Jeff on the phone and he is in Alabama right now. I took lots of pictures, so I will post some of them sometime.

This morning I took my husband to the airport to fly back to Alabama for a couple weeks. He will start framing our house in Alabama and then come back in July to work here in Utah. It has been a really cool, rainy day here in Utah but I like the cool weather. Tomorrow I will take my kids to Logan, Utah to visit my parents and eat Sunday dinner with them and then go to my Uncle Larry and Arlene's farewell to the Paris, France mission. My neice Chelsie is going to the same mission.

Yesterday evening was a lot of fun. I wish I would of remembered my camera though. After taking the kids swimming for a little while at Camp Williams we went with Dion and Summer to the top of a mountain close to where they live. It's where some ski resorts are located, Brighton ski resort. Anyway, when we got to the top of the mountain they have a beautiful well kept park with a huge lake and a board walk and trail that goes around the lake and piers that you can look over into the lake. It was a lot of fun walking the trail and sometimes running into snow patches. Jeff had a hurt ankle so he put his foot in the water and the ice cold water helped him. After the walking we came down the mountain and I babysat Dion's kids so they could go out for dinner for their anniversary. We took the kids to Wendy's to eat and then came home to play. Lauren spent the day with another friend at Lagoon so she didn't come with us. It was a fun day. I love the mountain air! I just wish I had brought my camera for the incredible views up there. It is early morning Tuesday today and we have to make a decision soon if we are staying here in Utah or going back to Alabama. Jeff may have some work here for a couple months so he is thinking of what is the best decision. I started packing up my house so I have boxes layed all over my house.

A beautiful day here in Utah. I took a long walk this morning with our dog "Teddy" I pick Jeff up at the airport this evening. Our honda is back but it still acts up--we can't seem to find a mechanic that knows how to fix the problem. Our van still needs some work done on it also hopefully we will have them fixed enough to get them back to Alabama. Jeff has military duty this weekend and then we should be moving by next week sometime. We have a lot to pack up and Lauren made houses out of my boxes so I don't have many moving boxes.
