I went to a Middle School today in Provo, Utah and I got to listen to Jill and her experiences in Afghanistan and winning the pageant. She is an amazing person that had some fun and tough experiences and now talks to students in the schools about them. She had some great pictures to share with the group. I took tonight off and went to Cracker Barrel to eat dinner with my son Trey. My daughter Heather is spending the night and Lauren didn't want to come so it was just me and him. I had some catfish and some blackberry cobbler for dessert. They had the fireplace going again-it's spring here in Utah but the weather is still cool outside. We stopped by the mall on the way home to look around for a while before it closed for the evening. I have a job interview comming up so that should be interesting. Jeff is in Alabama for a while and will have an interview in Georgia. My house needs some serious house cleaning and my lawn needs mowing pretty bad so tomorrow will be a busy day as well. I also went to my sister Doneen's house to grind some wheat so I can make some homemade wheat bread tomorrow.

I hate that Sage Elementary is hiring for a third grade teacher and we might be moving. That would be a cool job but their are so many applying for the job and I don't know if we can stay here but I might just interview for it anyway...I substitute at that school so much I feel like I already teach there. Jeff is in Alabama now and will go to Georgia soon to interview for a job there. I had my honda towed out of my garage today because it doesn't want to start and our other vehicle is in the body shop so I am driving a rental car right now. Hopefully the garage will find out what the problem is and get it fixed so it will run well. It's still a very nice automobile and I enjoy the sunroof and leather seats. The weather here in Utah has been cool and sometimes rainy. My grass needs mowing pretty bad--I'll probably do that on Saturday. I have a new job as a scout leader for the wolves on Thursdays.

Today is a pretty good day today. I had a kindergarten class today. The morning class was awful and my afternoon class was awesome. I have kindergarten tomorrow also. Jeff flew to Alabama this afternoon and will get some things done while he is there. He also will talk to someone about a job opportunity in Georgia. A couple more weeks of school left--our van is in the body shop and hopefully the insurance from the other guy will pay for the rental car and body work. I'm thankful to have work close by in my kids school it makes it nice.

Happy Mother's Day!! Today I took my three children to church while Jeff had Reserve Duty. I really enjoyed my meetings and they handed out frosted sugar cookies to all the moms. When I came home I picked Jeff up and he had a basket of goodies for me. I came home and we had dinner and the kids game me some gifts as well. I'm thankful for my mom and the great example she is to me. She is a great person and I'm glad she is just a phone-call/e-mail away.. Happy Mother's Day again....

This morning I had a kindergarten class. Kindergarten can be a tough class, especially when your a substitute. The routine and the songs they know and keeping their attention can be pretty tough at times. They are very cute kids though. Today they dressed up like butterflies with wings, a head band and they had a party blower used for the tongue--it was really cute. We have a rental car while our van is being looked at. My daughter Heather is having a good time with several friends from school, they are having a birthday party/sleep over tonight. I had lots of housework to catch up on and I took Teddy for a short walk.

Hello Today is a beautiful sunny day outside but the air is still cool. We have a guy looking at the damage of our van right now. Hopefully we will be able to get it fixed quickly because the honda doesn't want to start as well so not having a car to work is not a good thing. We will have to get a rental car for a while. Well Jeff said we can go get the rental car so I'm happy about that see you later....

Well I have had a stomach sickness for a couple days now and hoping by tomorrow that everything will be o.k. I sub for a kindergarten class- half day- for the next three days. Next week I also have another kindergarten class for another three days. I finally finished the autobiography about Charles Shultz. I liked the book and I really like his artwork and comic strips. I thought I would try drawing some of his comic strips for fun. My daughter Lauren has been drawing pictures on paint recently on the computer and she enjoys art as well. The past couple days I haven't been doing much just cleaning around my house and resting. I haven't been feeling my best and hopefully the weather will get warmer so I can walk outside and get some exercise in the fresh air. It has been cool lately here in Utah with some rain and snow. I'm ready for some warm weather. I was going to take some pictures of the car but can't seem to find my camera, so I will keep searching so I can put more pictures on my blog.
