It snowed so hard here in Alabama. I was let go early Thursday from work and I was slipping and sliding on the road after I picked up Heather from school. The snow is very pretty to look at! I put some pictures up on my facebook page. Lauren is heartbroken and it will take a while to get over this boy Landon that she really liked. I hate to see her go through this! I talked to my dad on the phone and he talked to Lauren for a little while and that helped. I love calling my parents and checking up on them and talking to them. My dad also likes to write letters, so I love to get letters from him and save them. He likes for us to write him as well. He isn't much into the computer so that wont work much for him. Today the sun is shining bright and I love that because we have had so much rain lately and clouds that it seemed like Seattle Washington. I need to make sure I exercise and eat healthier because I get into bad habits. I made some delicious homemade bread bowls and potatoe soup last night that turned out delicious. I think I got the idea from Summer Davidson. All the kids are out of school today so they have a long weekend, they will be out Monday as well. We also celebrated my brothers birthday, Darryl, that passed away with cancer in 1986. His birthday is January 16, 1962 and our family always remembers him on his birthday by eating apple pie. He loved apple pie and always wanted this for his birthday cake. Daryl was an amazing brother that set such a good example and was always so strong spiritually. I love him and will always try to keep him in my remembrance.

My daughter Lauren is now in JrROTC at her school. The first day they were really tough on her physically she will be really sore for a while! She came home with an outfit and told me about it when I got home from work. About the same things are going on in our life right now, we are still awaiting orders for Jeff's national guard unit. I am busy working and I hope to be able to finish some more schooling later on so I can get my teaching degree back so I can apply for teaching jobs.

This morning I had to take three puppies and the mom to the pound, it was hard to do but it needed to be done. The dogs bark at night and I can't sleep good and we have to many of them to take care of. I kept one of the puppies because Heather would be heartbroken if she came home from school to find all the dogs gone. It was tempting though. We are still waiting to find out any news from the National Guard. Hopefully we can get better on our feet this year financially. It has been extremly tough having financial problems. I'm going to try to stay optimistic and positive through it all. We had a nice Christmas and it was fun being in our new house for Christmas. Jeff is burned out from working on it but there is still a lot to be completed in our home.

Today is a cool day 12-12-12! I just had to leave a post of my day so far. This morning I am off work until 2pm. I just ate at a barbeque restaurant for lunch with my husband and we are now at the library in Hanceville, Al. I also went to a cute library in Blountsville, Al with my husband. It is a very small town but the building was new and pretty. Lauren wanted to stay home from school today but she had to go. They will be getting out of school soon for Christmas vacation. The weather here is cold in Alabama, winter is here. My husband recently got a job with FEMA and it is a temporary job until June of next year. He is also working on getting back into the National Guard in Alabama and is filling out forms on the computer. I hope everything works out for him and he enjoys his new job. We had a great Christmas Feast at an Orthodontist in Cullman recently with my job at Affordable Family Dentistry. They had all sorts of good food to choose from and it was fun to see other people and eat good food.

Well I wanted to put pictures on the computer but recently Lauren lost my camera, hopefully we will be able to find my expensive camera so I wont have to buy a new one! Christmas will be fun in our new house this year just tight because of Jeff being out of work. I'm thankful to talk to my dad on the phone and chat with him about different things. Today he was making home made wheat bread in his sun oven in Arizona. :)

Hello! It's almost December and I can't believe all that has happened since we moved back to Alabama from Utah. Jeff felt like we needed to live here in Alabama so we moved back after living in Utah for about four years. Jeff went to work building a big house when he got here. We now live in that house but it's not completely finished yet. Jeff has had a lot of obstacles placed in his path like being out of work for long periods of time! It has been hard on me and the kids. He is trying to get back into the Alabama National Guard but they are taking extremly too long to process everything. He tried truck driving but went with an awful company that didn't keep their trucks up and now his record is bad, they took his last paycheck and want him to pay a lot of added fees. I am blessed to have a good job that I enjoy and want to go back to school to get my teaching degree certificate back so it's not expired. I haven't had much luck with getting a teaching job so that hasen't been any fun. I try to think and stay positive and do the best that I can. I love the nice weather we are having and the beauty outside always inspires me. I want to be an artist on the side and paint lovely pictures! In my spare time (after laundry, cleaning, cooking, etc.) I like to read and I have been wanting to learn programming so I have been reading up on C++ and other programming books. I want to read Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol for the holidays as well. I'm so thankful for my parents and family members and Church Family here in Cullman, Alabama. Hopefully 2013 our family will have better luck with Jeff having some success with work and getting back to where he needs to be spiritually and temporally!

I really enjoy my job but I also want to explore more ways to make money online and business opportunities. The internet is amazing and so many ways to make connections. I am in awe of some entrepenuers like Anthony Morrison and Kelly King Anderson. I want to spend some extra time finding out about ways to start a business and learning more about the internet and business opportunities. I'm also in awe with my oldest brother Darryl that is no longer living and I miss him a lot. He was a computer programmer at a very early age and went to Brigham Young University and served a full time mission to Denmark for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He started his own business and it was called Darryl's Computer Consulting. I have fond memories of him always working in front of the computer and taking it apart to find out more about it. He loved to work.
