Hello, Today I taught a first grade class and tomorrow I will have the same class all day. I enjoy first grade but they sure are active. Lauren's friend from church had her appendix burst recently and she is in critical condition so we need to keep her in our prayers. It is a beautiful, clear day today and so pretty outside. I walked our dog Teddy for a while in the neighborhood to get a little exercise. I subbed half a day so I got out at 3:30 this afternoon. Jeff is going to talk to a Reserve Unit on Friday so hopefully we will hear something about work or going to a military school. He gets paid while he goes to military school and he wants to put in for Ranger School. I cooked some fish tonight because I love fish but I don't usually cook it very much because my husband and kids dislike it.

Today is Saturday and kind of layed back day for me. Jeff had national guard this weekend so he had to get up early and I slept in for a while. My kids slept in too, Heather was spending the night at a friends house. When we finally woke up we cleaned the house and I ran to Walmart to get a few groceries for tomorrow. I made a chocolate cake this afternoon and did lots of loads of laundry. Lauren switched rooms again so she could have her own room. She cleaned up the rooms and shampooed the floors so it looks better. I read some of the book Jeff bought and was reading about Charles Shultz biography, it is a pretty interesting book to read. I also went over my primary lesson for tomorrow that I teach.

I got back from Logan tonight. I spent the night at my mom and dad's house while my kids spent some time with their friends in Logan, Utah. We went with the Brown's to a hot springs in Idaho and it was really warm water surrounded by gorgeous scenery. On the way home, we stopped to get a hamburger and then the girls spent the night with the Brown family. Trey and I spent the night at my parent's house and watched a cool movie about Charles Lindburg and his flight across the Atlantic Ocean. Today we spent a lot of time at their house and I went on a bike ride around the neighborhood. My dad took me to look at his motorhome he is getting worked on, putting new carpet in, etc. I had a fun day and the kids had a lot of fun too. Some pictures I took at the hot springs and my parents home.

Today I watched General Conference and I went shopping at Walmart and Dollar Tree for Easter. Jeff thought he had national guard duty today but went in and they weren't there so he called someone in his unit and they said it isn't until the 10th of this month. He wanted to fly back to Alabama to start framing the house soon. We haven't heard anything about his possible full time job opportunities so I'm not sure what is going to happen. Our rent runs out the end of May when school is out so we will have to make a decision soon if we are staying here or moving back to Alabama. The kids are dying hard boiled eggs for Easter right now and I made home made cinnamon rolls for the holiday. The house is kind of a mess because some of my kids have been sick and not feeling too well. I guess I need to do some Saturday cleaning so I better go for now.

Today is Friday. I subbed for a fun fourth grade class today in Orem, Utah. The class was decorated so cute with ocean scenes around the room. The class was pretty good for me because they had a substitute before that they weren't very good for and they were in trouble by the teacher so the teacher had some pretty severe consequences if they had a bad report. They kept asking me how their behavior was throughout the day. We are out for Spring Break this comming week and General Confrence and Easter Sunday are this weekend. Jeff still hasen't heard anything on his jobs, so I am a little concerned about it and hoping we will hear something soon. I try to stay busy everyday in the schools and I enjoy the work. My uncle David sent a family book with personal histories in it and I have loved reading it this week.
